Chicago Tribune: Federal agents move woman awaiting emergency surgery at Texas hospital to detention site

Federal agents forcibly moved a critically ill woman from El Salvador who was awaiting emergency surgery for a brain tumor from a Texas hospital to a detention center, because she was undocumented. Sara Beltran-Hernandez, 26, a mother of two young children, was bound by her hands and feet and removed by wheelchair from Huguley Hospital in Fort Worth late Wednesday by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents who brought her to a detention facility in Alvarado, Texas.

"As we speak today, immigration officials are finding the gang members, the drug dealers and the criminal aliens and throwing them the hell out of our country. And we will not let them back in," Trump said. "They're not coming back in folks."

They’re doing much more. By unleashing immigration agents, Trump has made any unauthorized immigrant fair game, regardless of circumstance
This is cruel and unnecessary. America is better than this writes Robert Reich.
