A new poll conducted by the Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research finds that 65% of Americans believe President Trump lacks respect for our country’s democratic institutions and traditions. It leaves 34 % who believe he does respect them.
Overall, 64 percent disapprove and just 35 percent approve of his job performance.
To most observers, it should be obvious that Trump does not respect our democracy. And, our country is deeply divided because of it.
